Hassan S. Shukri, MD
Dr. Shukri has training and clinical experience in neurology. He has additional subspecialty training in neurophysiology. This includes the diagnostic evaluation of the peripheral nervous system using conductive studies and EMG.
Dr. Shukri received his medical degree from University Central Del Este in Puerto Rico in 1982. He completed his residency training in neurology and a fellowship in neurophysiology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. He has received several recognition certificates and awards over the years including being selected for one of New York’s favorite physicians and Most Compassionate Doctor.
Dr. Shukri is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). He has been in private practice since 1995.
Rose Soto, NP
 Rose Soto is a board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She earned both her Bachelor of Science in nursing and Master’s degree from Syracuse University.
She started her career working in the department of neurosurgery/neurology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse as a registered nurse in 1997. She also accumulated acute care experience working in urgent care.
She has extensive clinical experience in neurology, but also has additional sub-specialty training and interest in Multiple Sclerosis (MS). She worked at the MS center at SUNY Medical University as a Nurse Practitioner in the department of neurology for several years before joining CNY Neurological Consulting. Rose has also collaborated in the establishment of the Neurology Infusion Center at SUNY Upstate Medical University which provides infusion treatments to patients with Multiple Sclerosis and various other neurological conditions.
She is on the Medical Advisory board for MS Resources of CNY. She is also board-certified in MS care through the International Organization of MS Nurses (IOMSN). She is a member of several professional organizations including the IOMSN and the American Nurses Association.
