Our History
More Than 30 Years Serving Central New York
Founded in 1995 by Hassan Shukri, MD, CNY Neurological Consulting, PLLC was established to bring comprehensive, subspecialty-level neurological care to patients in the Syracuse area and throughout Central New York. For more than three decades, the practice has grown in both clinical scope and provider expertise while maintaining its commitment to individualized patient care.
Located at 5000 Brittonfield Parkway in East Syracuse, the practice provides evaluation and management for a broad range of neurological conditions — from common disorders such as migraine and peripheral neuropathy to complex conditions including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, and neuromuscular disease.
Over the years, CNY Neurological has expanded its capabilities to include on-site diagnostic testing, an infusion center for neurological therapies, and management of implanted neuromodulation devices — allowing many patients to receive coordinated neurological care without traveling to larger academic centers.
